FAQs

Trusting someone else to take care of your beloved pet can be a stressful experience. At Country Acres, we pride ourselves on being transparent with our clients to ensure both you and your pet feel at ease and well taken care of. We know you may have some questions about our services, which is why we have provided answers to some of our FAQs below!

How do you introduce my dog to the environment?

Because safety is our top priority, a half-day “Meet and Treat” is required for all daycare dogs, including borders, that will also be participating in daycare. This time is used to understand your dog’s personality and whether they prefer group play or one-on-one play. At the discretion of Country Acres, a dog may not be able to attend daycare with us due to behavior but can still enjoy private recess time.

What is Country Acres spay/neuter policy?

Intact dogs are unable to attend group daycare (but may be boarded with private play time.) Female dogs who are pregnant or in heat may not visit Country Acres for their own safety and well-being.

Can I bring my own dog food?

In order to keep your pets digestive tract as regular as possible during our stay, we prefer you provide your pets food from home. Please be sure to package food by meal if possible. If needed, we do offer high quality adult pet food for $5.00 per day. We provide bowls for food and water.

Can I check in on how my pet is doing?

Absolutely! Feel free to check in with us! The best time to call is late morning or late afternoon, when all the animals have been fed and are settled down. We also provide a detailed report on your pet during pick-up, highlighting their activity, behavior, diet, and overall health during their stay.

What can I expect from Country Acres?

When you visit Country Acres you and your fur child can expect:

  • Clean and spacious kennels
  • Private indoor and outdoor runs
  • Optional playtime
  • Optional bathing
  • A detailed report during pickup about your pet
  • And more

How safe is Country Acres?

The safety and well-being of all of our furry guests is a priority. As a result, our doggy daycare sessions are always supervised in a controlled, country setting by our trained and pet CPR/First Aid-certified team. During playtime, we ensure all dogs are only intermixed with those of the same temperament and size. If your fur child isn't highly social toward other dogs, no worries! We have individual play times available as well.

Can I bring my pet's favorite toys and bedding?

For sanitation and safety purposes, we provide toys and bedding for your pet. We will not accept outside toys and bedding.
